Absolutely beautiful 36" tall candle. Candle is 2" thick throughout. One of our most popular candles. 5 organza bows with a white centerpiece flower. Tulle flows from the bow to below the bottom of the candle. Color choice applies to both ribbon and tulle. The centerpiece flower is white. Candle is a stearine candle - smokeless, dripless, and of a pure white color. Provides a long, clean-burning performance.
***About Baptismal Candles: Baptismal candles are central to the baptismal ceremony and usually include one large decorated white candle for the ceremony and smaller, more basic, candles to be carried by the children who participate in the ceremony. The main baptismal candle is typically 24” to 32" in height (but may be any length of choice) and decorated with bows, tulle satin, or organza. It can be a tapered candle or a heavier, thick candle – depending upon the preference of the Godparents. After the Sacrament of Baptism, while the baby is being dressed into the new baptismal clothing, the children are called to the altar and hold their baptismal candle. When the baby returns to the altar, the main decorated baptismal candle is lit. The priest, the godparents and the children – with their candles lit – walk around the font three times - symbolizing a dance of celebration for the baby who has newly entered into the church.
