Souliotisa Girl Costume

This outfit is imported from Greece and made by the premiere manufacturer of traditional Greek costumes. This traditional dancing costume is a favorite amongst dancing troupes and churches. This outfit ships direct from Greece. Please allow 1-2 weeks for arrival of outfit.

This girl's costume consists of dress, apron, sleeveless coat (segouni), and headscarf.

Not what I was expecting

I recently purchased the Souliotissa and was very disappointed with its quality. The fabric felt cheap and scratchy. In pictures it looks like breathable cotton or a similar fabric. Sadly this is like acrylic fleece.
The stitching and embroidery looks different from the original picture as well.
The scarf looks like a nice restaurant napkin and doesn't stay in place, as someone else already referred.
Overall, I would not recommend this garment.

Beautiful!

The costume arrived very fast from Greece, and was exactly what we wanted! The material is an off-white ivory color, and feels very soft. We are happy and satisfied with our selection!

Very comfortable

The material is high quality breathable fabric, which helped my daughter stay cool and comfortable here in the warm weather of south Florida. Thankfully, none of that itchy and sticky cheap polyester. The costume arrived pressed and ready to wear. The tunic is long and loose -- you will need a belt or use the included apron as we did, to cinch the waist. My only complaint was the headscarf/kerchief looked and felt like a fancy restaurant dinner napkin. Also, be aware that the costume is not a true white; it is a French vanilla color (yellowish off white). Even so, the costume was cut very nicely, including the neck line and sleeves, which gave it a high quality appearance.
